The Planets of the Guraan
Avola
Avola is a storm-scarred mining world located in the Gitaris System and the only known source of Vait — the rare mineral required for stable faster-than-light travel through the Vait Chamber. Violent electrical storms surround much of the planet’s atmosphere, forcing most interstellar travel through massive artificial atmospheric tunnels constructed during the industrial expansion of the eastern continent, Plasis.
For centuries, Avola’s people lived divided among hundreds of warrior clans deeply connected to Avolan Quill and the spiritual belief that Vait is not merely a resource, but part of the planet’s living energy. While the eastern continent fell under heavy industrialization and later Belinean and AuFa control, much of the western continent — including Bisi, Lowell, Traxis, Bosa, Valmay, and Highland — remained rural, tribal, and resistant to imperial rule.
Avola is the economic backbone of the galaxy. Control of Vait means control of interstellar trade, military expansion, and the continued dominance of the Guraan itself.
The planet is also the birthplace of the Red Ring Rise, the largest organized rebellion against Belinean colonial rule.

Belinea
Belinea serves as the political, military, and spiritual center of the known galaxy. Since the Belinean Revolution twenty years earlier, the planet has remained under the leadership of Archon Holden Hasarra and the powerful Hasarra family, who seized control of the Guraan from neighboring Verona during a period of political collapse and interstellar instability.
New home to the Guraan Senate, the Silver Swords, and the military command structure of the AuFa, Belinea projects itself as the guardian of order, civilization, and unity throughout the galaxy. The planet’s influence is reinforced through the teachings of Belinean Quill, led by Quillisar Prill, whose ideology became central to the rise of modern Belinean power.
Under Hasarra rule, massive corporations tied to mining operations on Titan and Avola, along with the economic exploitation of Earth, transformed Belinea into the wealthiest world in the Guraan. Members of the Hasarra family maintain direct influence over nearly every pillar of imperial authority — including Tempest Hasarra as Defense Minister of the AuFa, Argo Hasarra as Commander of the Silver Swords that guard Belinean Quillisars and carry out Quillisar Prill’s orders, and Sansigar Malovex, Commander of the Silver Swords that guard the Senators of the Guraan.
To its citizens, Belinea represents stability and strength. To everyone else, it is the heart of the Authoritarian control of the galaxy.
Quill - Belinean , Silver Rock, Green Forests
Status - Home of the Guraan, the Galactic Senate
Characters from Belinea : Archon Holden Hasarra, Argo Hasarra, Tempest Hasarra, Quillisar Prill, Sansigar Malovex, Lionel Leahy
Braccus
Braccus is considered one of the most stable and culturally influential worlds within the Guraan. Known for its green coastlines, marble cities, ancient stone architecture, and deep philosophical traditions, the planet has long served as a center for diplomacy, trade, and interplanetary commerce. Though aligned with the Guraan, Braccus maintains a strong independent identity and is represented by three Senators within the Guraan itself.
Its people are widely regarded as refined, intellectual, and politically moderate compared to the harsher militarism of Belinea. Yet beneath its beauty and prosperity, tensions continue to rise across the Gitaris System — particularly on Braccus’s sister world, Gitaris, where rebellion and unrest have increasingly challenged imperial authority.
Orbiting above the planet is the moon Vandabri, once a legitimate Aserol shipping hub that gradually transformed into one of the most infamous underground trade centers in the galaxy. Filled with casinos, smuggling tunnels, private markets, and criminal syndicates tolerated by powerful political interests, Vandabri exists as the hidden shadow of Braccian civilization — a place where secrets are bought, sold, and buried.
Quill - Veronan and Belinean Variations Green Rolling Hills, Aqua Oceans
Status - Financial Capital of the Guraan
Earth
Quill - Belinean Quill
Status - Belinean Colony
Earth entered the galaxy through catastrophe. In 2085, a global pandemic devastated the planet, killing over eighty percent of its population. Facing extinction, Earth was rescued by the Belineans during a period of growing unrest throughout the Guraan, becoming a protected Belinean colony.
Over the following years, the Belineans reshaped Earth through strict urban discipline, industrial expansion, and the spread of Belinean Quill. Massive population centers were rebuilt beneath imperial oversight while corporations tied to the Hasarra family used Earth’s enormous labor force to become some of the wealthiest economic powers in the galaxy. The introduction of Chew — the artificial nutritional supplement developed by the Hasarras — helped stabilize hunger across both Earth and parts of the wider Guraan.
Beyond the protected cities, however, much of Earth remains fractured. Large regions of the outskirts continue to suffer from poverty, political instability, lawlessness, and lingering remnants of the original pandemic viruses. Some of Earth’s most powerful industrial families and political figures built fortunes operating dangerously close to these infected territories, profiting from cheap labor, resource extraction, and the desperation of survival itself.
Earth remains central to the economic survival of both the Hasarra corporations and the Belinean Corporations that maintain the needs of the galaxy.

Gitaris
Gitaris is a frozen mountain world within the Gitaris System, dominated by jagged rocky terrain, narrow rivers carved through ice, and brutal subzero storms that sweep across much of the planet year-round. Much of its population lives in isolated villages and industrial settlements scattered between mountain valleys and military corridors.
The planet is home to one of the largest AuFa military installations in the galaxy, constructed to maintain Belinean control over the increasingly unstable Gitaris System following the occupation of neighboring Avola. Over the last twenty years, Gitaris has absorbed waves of refugees, miners, smugglers, and rebel sympathizers fleeing the conflicts on Avola, creating constant tension between the local population and the AuFa Guraan Military.
Resistance cells, underground supply routes, and pro-Avolan movements continue to operate across the mountain regions, forcing the AuFa into near-constant military crackdowns and counterinsurgency operations.
Strategically critical military world within the Gitaris System and one of the primary staging grounds for AuFa operations against Avolan resistance forces.
Quill - Variations of Avolan Quill to no religion
Status - Industrial Planet within the Guraan
Serpia
Serpia is one of the most technologically advanced worlds ever known within the galaxy — a planet of vast green mountain ranges, dense forests, massive industrial arcologies, and machine-driven cities built directly into the landscape itself. Unlike the spiritual cultures of Verona, Avola, or Belinea, Serpian society evolved around logic, engineering, scientific advancement, and technological supremacy.
In 2084, Serpia became the center of the most devastating political conflict in modern galactic history when civil war erupted between the ruling Serpians and the Tiloian Quill followers who inhabited portions of the planet. The conflict fractured alliances throughout the Guraan and ultimately helped trigger the Belinean Revolution led by Holden Hasarra and Quillisar Prill.
Very little verified information remains regarding the final years of the war. What is known is that the Serpians emerged victorious — and that no known Tiloians remained on Serpia afterward.
Shortly after the conflict, Serpia either withdrew from or was expelled from the Guraan, depending on the political perspective. Since the rise of Belinean rule, no other world has ever been permitted to leave the Guraan, making Serpia’s departure one of the greatest unresolved mysteries in modern galactic history.
Though largely absent from public galactic affairs, Serpia continues to cast a long shadow across the events of The Chronicles of Belinea.
Quill - Tiloian Quill, None for the Serpians
Status - Former Members of the Guraan
Titan
Quill - Belinean
Status - Belinean Colony
Titan is one of the largest industrial worlds in the known galaxy — a massive gas giant whose endless chemical storms and toxic atmosphere have made it synonymous with labor, punishment, and imperial control. Though incapable of supporting conventional civilization across much of its surface, Titan’s orbital stations, mining caverns, refinery platforms, and industrial extraction systems produce enormous quantities of ore, gas, and rare elements essential to the economic power of Belinea and the wider Guraan.
Much of the labor force on Titan consists of displaced populations, prisoners, political dissidents, debt workers, and the unwanted remnants of failed worlds and broken treaties. Millions work beneath constant surveillance in hazardous mining zones and industrial sectors where the atmosphere itself is often lethal without protective equipment. The planet’s vast labor system helped fuel the immense wealth of the Hasarra corporations and the continued industrial dominance of Belinea.
Titan also serves as one of the primary prison systems within the Guraan, housing high-security labor camps and containment facilities reserved for dangerous criminals, political prisoners, and enemies of the state. In addition, large portions of the planet are controlled directly by the AuFa and Silver Swords, who maintain military academies, combat training centers, and strategic installations throughout the Titan industrial sectors.
Torsalli
Quill - Belinean Transition, some Veronan
Status - Culture/Arts center of the galaxy
Torsalli is regarded as one of the most beautiful and culturally influential worlds within the Guraan. Covered largely by deep blue oceans and warm Mediterranean climates, the planet is known for its rolling green hills, marble coastal cities, vineyard countryside, and thriving artistic traditions. Music, architecture, literature, fashion, and cuisine all flourish throughout Torsalli’s city-states and coastal provinces, making it one of the most visited destinations in the galaxy.
Unlike the industrial dominance of Belinea or the militarized tension of worlds like Titan and Gitaris, Torsalli has largely remained peaceful and economically prosperous for centuries. Wealth generated through trade, tourism, shipping, and cultural exports has allowed the planet to maintain enormous influence within the Senate despite lacking the military power of larger imperial worlds.
Though outwardly refined and politically stable, Torsalli remains deeply tied to the balance of power within the Guraan, with many powerful families and corporations quietly shaping galactic diplomacy, commerce, and cultural identity behind the scenes.
Verona
Quill - Veronan
Status - Former Center of the Guraan
Verona is a small, ancient ocean world known for its icy beauty, deep blue seas, rugged mountain coastlines, and centuries-old cultural traditions. Its polar regions are dominated by glaciers and frozen storms, while much of the equatorial regions resemble the cold highlands and coastal landscapes of ancient Scotland and Iceland. Though smaller and less industrialized than neighboring Belinea, Verona remains one of the wealthiest and most historically influential planets in the galaxy.
The Quill itself was founded on Verona thousands of years earlier, and for much of galactic history Veronan Quill served as the spiritual and philosophical center of the Guraan. Veronans became known throughout the galaxy for their emphasis on art, music, philosophy, architecture, science, and cultural refinement — often viewing balance, knowledge, and tradition as more important than expansion and conquest.
Alongside Belinea, Serpia, and Braccus, Verona helped establish the original foundations of the Guraan Senate. However, following the Belinean Revolution led by Holden Hasarra and Quillisar Prill, Verona lost much of its direct political power to the rising Belinean Empire. Despite this decline, Veronan influence remains deeply woven into the culture, spirituality, and history of the galaxy itself.
