2085 — The Serpian Civil War
Long-standing tensions between the technologically driven Serpians and the Quill-following Tiloians erupt into open war. The conflict rapidly escalates into one of the most devastating political and military crises in modern Guraan history.
As the violence spreads, growing criticism emerges throughout the galaxy regarding the inability of Veronan leadership to contain the conflict or protect the Tiloian population.
The Serpians emerge victorious from the civil war. In the aftermath, the Tiloian Quill followers are believed to have been completely wiped out. Very little verified information regarding the final days of the Tiloians survives.
The destruction of the Tiloians sends shockwaves throughout the Guraan and permanently reshapes galactic politics.
2085 — The Belinean Revolution
Following widespread outrage over the handling of the Serpian crisis, Belineans Holden Hasarra and Quillisar Prill lead the transfer of power within the Guraan. Belinea replaces Verona as the political center of the galaxy.
The revolution dramatically reshapes the balance between government, religion, and military authority throughout the Guraan.
2086 — The Earth Pandemic
A viral outbreak devastates Earth, killing nearly eighty percent of the planet’s population within a single year. Governments collapse, economies fail, and much of the planet descends into chaos.
Shortly afterward, the Belineans announce the formal intervention and stabilization of Earth under Guraan protection.
2086 — Earth Becomes a Belinean Colony
Claiming to prevent total societal collapse, the Guraan formally establishes Earth as a protected Belinean colony. Earth rapidly becomes one of the largest labor forces in the galaxy.
Though presented publicly as humanitarian intervention, the move remains politically controversial, given that Earth had not reached a number of technological advancements that are required before being included into the Guraan.
2086 — The Occupation of Avola
Rising instability among the Avolan clans and disputes surrounding Vait mining operations lead to large-scale AuFa military deployment across Avola.
The eastern continent falls under direct Belinean control as Vait extraction and military ship production rapidly expand. In an effort to remove the corrupt mining guild of the western continent, thus stabilizing the Vait production in the galaxy, Avola is declared a Belinean Colony with the backing of the AuFa Guraan Military.
2087–2095 — Expansion of the AuFa
As instability spreads across multiple systems, the AuFa undergoes rapid military expansion under growing Belinean influence. New fleets, mining operations, and industrial sectors emerge throughout the Guraan.
Titan and Earth become central to the empire’s growing industrial infrastructure, an effort to counter an escalation in widespread galaxy terrorism.
2098 — Earth Delegates Established
Earth is permitted to elect regional Delegates representing the major cities within the Guraan. Though largely symbolic politically, the move is publicly framed as the first step toward eventual planetary autonomy.
The Delegate & Ambassador Guard forms as a way to protect the Earth Delegates, then expands into a formal planetary security force tasked with maintaining order within the Earth cities and reducing the need for large-scale AuFa deployment.
2105 — The Massacre of Braccus
Rising terrorism, political unrest, and growing instability throughout the Guraan erupt into violence on Braccus, setting into motion the events that begin The Chronicles of Belinea.
